The "Bluedandenongs" Portal "Live From France "

FEATURE INFORMATION PAGE

Travelogue Overview

Following the success of our "Live from the Sunshine Coast" travelogue in February 2005 we have decided to document our four weeks in France in May/June 2005.
The aim of the feature is to provide a cross flow of tourism information and to take details of the Dandenong Ranges overseas.
We trust the feature will interest Melbournians planning overseas travel, and that tips and details of our good and not so good experiences will be useful.
We will be meeting with local tourism industry representatives and seeking exchange web links to appropriate sites.
It is my belief that tourism can be successfully promoted at niche level providing useful exchange of cultural understanding. We we are tapping into the concept of targeted market segmentation.

Promotion of local tourism through Reality Internet is the aim of this Travelogue Feature.

FEATURE UPDATE

  • Following our delayed departure new plans are in place and our 4 to 5 days in UK have been rescheduled from the beginning to the end of our trip.
  • We departed Melbourne 11pm Monday 8th of May for Hong Kong with a 12 hour stop-over to connect to a later flight to Heathrow-London.
  • We left Gatwick-UK for Marseilles on Thursday 12th to catch up on our pre- booked schedule.
  • The first update to the Portal Travelogue was delayed until I was settled in Uzes as access to the server has been a little complicated. The Public Holiday on Monday 16th was another unforeseen!
  • A second update is planned at the end of our Uzes stay.
  • We will continue the feature with updates from The Dordogne and then St Remy.
